Pets OS for Stephone 1.3.0
Your phone,
with a pet in it.
Pets OS is a whole phone system, made by ShouldBe. It’s calm, it looks after you, and it’s on Android and iPhone today.
Pip
A friend who lives on your Home Screen.
Pet Pip, feed Pip, play with Pip. Pip notices when you visit and is pleased to see you. Look after yourself, with a daily visit, a focus walk or a Time Capsule, and you unlock new things for Pip to wear.
Clarice
Help that stays on your phone.
Ask Clarice to set a timer, open an app, call someone, check the battery or start a focus walk. Clarice runs on the phone itself: nothing you type leaves it, except weather and search look-ups you ask for.
Features
Made to look after you.
Pip Walk
A focus timer. Pip goes for a walk while you focus and comes home happy when it ends. The Pets Island shows Pip walking.
Time Capsule
Write a message to your future self. It stays sealed until the day you chose, then Pip brings it to you.
Day Story
In the evening, Clarice tells the story of your day from your moods, activities, notes and walks. Nothing leaves the phone.
Moods
Everyday, Work, Chill and Sleep. Each mood changes what your phone shows and how it interrupts you.
Pip Guard
Wrong passcode tries make Pip bark on the Lock Screen. After you unlock, Pip tells you how many there were, and when.
Wind Down
At bedtime the screen turns warm and dim, and can go grey, so putting the phone down is easier.
Pets Island
The space around the front camera shows what’s happening now, like a timer or Pip out on a walk.
Rest
Every app in one place, sorted A to Z, with Clarice suggesting the ones you’re likely to want next.
Easy to read
Bigger text, easier reading and read-aloud, all in Settings. Every screen is tested at the largest text size.
Apps
Everything you need, built in.
Phone, Messages, Camera and Contacts, plus ShouldBe’s own apps as your defaults. Choose different ones any time in Settings › Default Apps.
Lenda
Your calendar.
Moments
Your photos.
Milo
The web browser.
StepMail
Mail, kept on your phone.
Sonix
Music from real independent artists, and the UK chart.
O Store
More apps, like Liveo for live sport.
Sonix
Real music. Real covers.
Full albums from independent artists who share their music freely, and the current UK chart as previews from Apple Music.
Privacy
What happens on your phone stays on your phone.
Pip, your moods, your Day Story, your notes and your Time Capsules are stored on the phone. Clarice answers on the phone. There’s no account to make and no advertising.
Software Update
New features, without the hassle.
Pets OS checks for updates, downloads them with a progress bar, makes sure each one is genuine and complete, and installs it. Your apps, settings and Pip come with you.
